The NMC Summer Conference, one of higher education's most unique technology-focused events, will be held June 19-22 in Columbus, Ohio. Host for this year's meeting is the Emerging Technologies Studio at The Ohio State University.
For NMC members, the annual NMC Summer Conference is the key opportunity to meet face-to-face, attend hands-on training, and participate in highly interactive discussions about emerging technologies, best practices, campus challenges, innovation, and pedagogy.
This year, the program will focus on four key tracks: Tools and Techniques; Best Practices, Challenges & Issues; Emerging Technologies; and Technological Leadership and Management Effectiveness. The hugely popular Five Minutes of Fame(sm) will return again, and the 2002 Summer Conference will see the launch of the prestigious Centers of Excellence Awards.
Conference activities include exciting keynote addresses by renowned artist Charles Csuri of The Ohio State University and Randy Hinrichs of Microsoft Research, an opening reception at COSI, and a series of informative Pre-conference workshops.
Attendance is restricted to NMC members and invited guests. All attendees, including corporate partners, must register for the conference. There is no charge for up to four attendees from each NMC academic member. Additional registrations cost $200 each. Pre-conference workshops require separate registration using the Payment Form. The Payment Form can also be used to submit payment for additional conference registrations beyond the complimentary four member registrations.
